I'm Jessie, a SoCal-based creative with an affinity for cute and creepy things! I graduated from CSU Northridge with a BFA in Illustration, and I have been running my art business online and at conventions since 2018.

At my core I am a fangirl, and my art is a tribute to all of the anime and manga that shaped my passion for art growing up, and the (mostly horror) films and video games that comforted me through grief and other hardships in my adulthood. I mostly create fandom-driven art and products with a primary focus in indie games, as they have become my favorite medium in storytelling.

I strive to create imperfect but charming pieces that merge nostalgic dissonant-coquette and gurokawa aesthetics (both themes that share a juxtaposition between grotesque and cute elements), that stay true to all the things that I love. Creating things that revolve around my affinity for media deemed as nerdy or juvenile is my way of breaking the rhetoric that art has to be serious or an accurate portrayal of the world to be deemed as valuable.

When I'm not making things, I love playing video games, watching horror films, playing pinball, going on hikes & hanging out with my crazy tuxedo cat Frisk.
